EDGE Lab program VCU GREAT was the focus of the opening segment VCU President Michael Rao's 2021 State of the University Address: Emerging Stronger Together! Check out the first few minutes of the address to hear from 2020 VCU GREAT fellow Stephanie Cull about her GREAT experience!

Virginia Commonwealth University Guided Research Experiences & Applied Training (VCU GREAT) is a summer research program that provides undergraduates from underrepresented backgrounds with funded research training under the guidance of VCU faculty mentors conducting behavioral sciences research. The program, though previously held in person, was able to successfully make the transition online this year at a time when many research opportunities for students were cancelled due to the pandemic.
